“When I was young, I would often watch my mother doodle at the dinner table; It was something simple and calming to me. I always loved to see how she would draw and connect her lines to make new shapes and images.
One day, I was sitting with her and visiting while she doodled, she showed me her tips and tricks for drawing, and we drew together. It was at this moment that I fell in love with art.
As I grew older, I found that I did the same, doodling anywhere and anytime I could, even if I wasn’t very good at it. Even after my mother passed, I continued to grow, practice, and hone my skills; loving the act of creating just as she did. Art was always something that made me happy; it was comforting and familiar, one of my oldest loves. ”

“The moment I fell in love with art I was 9 years old sitting down on my bed and found some hockey stickers. Seeing I was bored and wanted something to do I decided to draw out and enlarge an exact replica of the sticker. Hours later to my surprise I found a hidden talent just bursting at the seams. I was so excited to see how I duplicated the sticker on a piece of paper. I just had to show my mom what I came up with. So I shared my work with her and the moment I saw her face light up with joy I knew I found something deep within my heart that could brighten up a person's day. With that being said I decided to draw anything from tape cassettes, CDs to Album art. Discovering a passion is one of the greatest gifts because it provides you with an outlet, gives you freedom of creativity, and unleashes a way in which you can explore different avenues to learn from. This is a sure way to enrich someone's life and that is why I love art to this day.
Happy Birthday.”

“When I was a child I had two loves, comic books, and story-telling. When I was 8 I got an Amazing Spiderman issue that I absolutely idolized. After pouring over the book, and the beautiful artwork. I decided to make my own comics and tell my own story with the aid of this newfound medium. Then, all of a sudden I had three loves that all worked together to express my passions through my art. It all begins with an idea. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story can make all the difference.”

“As a child I always loved to colour, craft and listen to a variety of genres of music. I always enjoyed different art forms but I feel in love with art when I was 19. I had just graduated college and travelled to Europe with a group friends. We went to many museums (I hadn’t been to many prior): saw paintings, statues, churches with beautiful stain glass, statues and flower gardens beautifully sculpted. Europe allowed me to take the time and appreciate art and it’s many forms.”

“A million plus years and we've been surrounded by your very presence as your influence is woven into the very fabric of our daily existence. Try as I may, every year on the first of December to live the day without your existence and conjure your absence, I fail. So, I accept wholeheartedly my love of you with raised glass in toast and rejoice this day of your birth.”

“Thank you Art for giving me the ability to express the inexpressible, change what I thought was unchangeable, and to become the artist I am today. Couldn't have done it without you!

“I fell in love with art in grade school when another student did a lesson on how to draw chibi anime characters for an assignment. I was so interested in drawing them I bought a How to Draw anime book from a book fair and spent the following months going through the book front to back and going though notebook after notebook practicing. The feeling of satisfaction I received from creating something sparked a life long interest in Art.”

“I don’t remember when I fell in love with art. I must have been very little at that time. However, I fall in love with art every time I begin a new work, every time I paint or draw and every time I complete one and yearn to start working on another piece. I fall in love with art when I look at sunrise or sunset or the moon or the clouds and the birds and trees. I fall in love everytime I look at a beautiful work of art by an artist. I fall in love with art as I look at light and shadows around me and at beautiful faces of people in my life:)”
