Opening: February 14, 7-10pm
Play It Safe is a sculptural and installation-based project concerned with pleasure and restriction. In this body of work, the artist presents dichotomies like leisure/labour and freedom/constraint as complex, paradoxical, and dynamic notions rather than clear-cut, straightforward, and stable concepts. Moreover, Play It Safe probes into the social, psychological, and ethical aspects related to rules and boundaries and the consequences of either respecting or transgressing them.
