This month’s Table Talk presenter is Atova Brown, owner of Let’s Eat. Cheryl will be presenting Sunday Dinner! For many, Sunday dinners remind them of their childhood, where they may have sat at the family table and listened to stories from their grandparents, or played with their siblings after the meal. Based on Atova's childhood memories of Sunday Dinner with her family, and her grandma bringing the family together each week, this Table Talk features a comfort-packed menu with mashed potatoes, greens, chicken, gravy, rolls, and butter tarts for participants to take home.
Table Talk offers an interactive experience that includes food tasting. Each participant will leave with a recipe so they can prepare the meal for others and pass on the knowledge and stories they've been told. If you're meat-free, please let us know by choosing the veg option when registering.
This event is part of our bi-monthly series Table Talk, an ongoing collaborative program with COOK-UP that invites folks to consider the ways food and art come together to transform, connect, and nourish. Through stories and memories, participants are invited to interact with the ingredients that make up a dish. Registration required. Spaces are limited. $25.
