34th Annual Doin' the Louvre
Artcite’s annual Christmas FUN(d)raising exhibition and sale which takes place every December!

Emily Jan: After the Hunt
AFTER THE HUNT / BEFORE THE FALL is a pair of installations which look to art history and natural history respectively.

AUDiNT: Delphic Panaceas
Based on the Martial Hauntology vinyl/book/print project released on AUDINT records in late 2014, the “Delphic Panaceas” exhibition consists of the artists’ ongoing Dead Record archives, along with Delusions of the Living Dead, a video projection of the animated film produced to accompany the first side of their latest album release. The multi-layered display is also accompanied by a sound installation that is designed “to be felt as much as heard”

Brandon Vickerd: Chopper/Ghost Rider
The “purposely diverse” work of Brandon Vickerd straddles the line between high and low culture, acting as a catalyst for critical thought while addressing the “failed promise of a modernist future predicated on boundless scientific advancement”.

Emily Davidson & Steve Lambert: Detournements
The Detournements exhibit will feature work by Emily Davidson (Halifax NS), and Steve Lambert (Beacon NY) who each challenge neoliberal narratives at work in our everyday environment by engaging with various community groups through projects that lie at the intersection of art and activism.

Alain Lefort: Seraphs/ The Burning Ones
Continuing in his interest in “bending the formal and conceptual delineations of traditional photography” to create disquieting and engrossing landscapes and nature studies, Alain Lefort’s latest photographic series, Seraph / The Burning Ones, features large-format colour, digital scans of moths.

Bevan Ramsey: Soft Tissue
Bevan Ramsay’s work lies at the intersection of nature and how we experience it within the neat packaging of contemporary society.
